Late 70s/early 80s American manufacture, when milgrain was still done by hand. Double halo construction with 0.33ctw of natural diamonds set in squared cushion formation. The SAI hallmark dates this to when jewelry was still made domestically, before everything moved offshore. Each diamond is surrounded by tiny gold beads—tedious work that nobody does anymore because it takes too long. The center stone is elevated above the first halo, creating decent light return despite the modest diamond quality. Solid construction at 2.60 grams, though light by today's standards.

Excellent preservation for a 45-year-old piece. The milgrain work remains sharp and defined—no worn-down beading or missing details. Surface-reaching inclusions in some diamonds are stable and don't affect the structural integrity. The SAI hallmark is clearly visible. Minor surface patina consistent with age adds character without requiring restoration.
