14K 0.52ct Architectural Cathedral Diamond Solitaire

Vintage
Sale price$1,250.00

Late 1970s cathedral setting with distinctive angular shoulders that form a bow tie silhouette. The 0.52ct diamond sits in white gold prongs while the yellow gold shoulders rise up to meet it. Strong blue fluorescence means this stone glows under UV and faces up whiter than its J-K grade. At 4.80 grams, it has the solid construction of pre-CAD jewelry. The geometric lines are pure late 70s, early 80s—when angular was the move.

Pair it with that vintage Halston and you’re off to the races.

Condition Notes

Excellent vintage condition with the subtle patina of four decades. Light surface scratches on the band from actual wearing. All prongs intact and secure. Cathedral shoulders show minimal wear to the edges. Slight evidence of professional cleaning on the underside of the setting. The diamond shows no chips or damage despite the SI2-I1 clarity grade. Band interior smooth with clear hallmark. This was someone's daily ring, not a drawer piece.
