Disco Era 14K 0.48ctw Channel-Set Diamond Band
Vertical channel-set rows alternating with raised gold ridges. 0.48ctw of diamonds in a design that was everywhere from 1975 to 1982, when wide bands were the default and diamonds came in L color because that's what was available. The FR hallmark and 4.50 grams of 14K gold put this squarely in the late 70s, built with the casting techniques that had just gotten good enough to make these uniform channels possible. The surface reaching inclusions and I1-I2 clarity were standard for the era—this is what diamond bands actually looked like before the market got obsessed with perfection. GIA Graduate verified the specs. The wear pattern suggests four decades of regular use.
