Paloma Picasso designed Sugar Stacks as pure modernist geometry—cushion stones floating in minimal prongs, no decoration, no distraction. The 12mm moonstone commands attention through scale alone, that confident minimalism that defined early 2000s luxury design. Sterling silver was Paloma's democratic choice—serious design without the barrier to entry. The collection was built for stacking but this moonstone stands alone, substantial enough to hold the hand by itself. The stone shows blue adularescence when the light hits right, that ethereal flash that made ancient Romans think they were wearing solidified moonbeams. These pieces lived quietly in Tiffany cases for a decade before discontinuation made them interesting again. Now they're archive pieces for people who know the difference between heritage and hype.

Condition Notes

Excellent condition with light surface scratches on the band—the kind that happen when silver meets reality. Moonstone pristine with no chips, cracks, or cloudiness. All prongs tight and original. Previous owner kept the pouch but not the box, which tells you everything about how they valued it. The © hallmark remains sharp, which means this lived in the jewelry box more than on the finger.
